Beautiful Wedding Favors

Wedding favors are often passed out by the bride at her reception. They are her way of saying, thank you for coming to my wedding. These favors can be as simple as little bags full of candy coated almonds tied with ribbons threaded through a thin white card with the bride and groom’s names and the date. Sometimes, wedding favors can be as elaborate as choosing a ceramic figure and ordering duplicates for all of your invited guests.

If you go for the extra expense of ceramic figures or tiny cut crystal vases, you will have a special gift for all of your guests to keep forever. These favors also have attached little bags of candy coated almonds, usually just white candy coated almonds. Wedding favors are really fashionable and something that everyone looks for, and they can also be part of your reception’s table decorations. 

Wedding favors make your table decorations festive and elegant and are treasured by your guests. There are some less traditional wedding favors but that would depend on the bride and whatever she chooses since wedding favors are the bride’s gifts to her guests.

There are many options whenever it come to wedding favors. The biggest hurdle usually comes to price because this can add up very quickly when you want every guest to receive a gift. If you are looking at just a dollar a piece and plan on having several hundred guests that is easily several hundred dollars. I have found that have something that is more customized created for these is usually a really great way to go. At least then even if the favor is relatively cheap you are getting something more special. Customized Hershey candy bars have become very popular or this. Another way to go is to have small cards created that may have funny or interesting facts or pictures of you and your fiancee. Some people have decided that a candy bar is a way to add a socializing center and focal point to their wedding. You can pick glass vessels to put the candy in and candy that is in the colors of your wedding. Some people go with small soaps or candles in customized boxes. Really this is a great opportunity to further enhance whatever theme you have decided to go with. If it is a beach wedding seashells are a great additive. If you are having an asian influenced wedding then custom chopstick may be the way to go. The important thing is to have fun with it!
